Last year while I was testing a new lens at Red Rocks Park a group of about 12 deer came into an opening next to the road where I had parked. It was obvious they had intended to cross the road just ahead of my car. So I just sat there an watch them and took a few shots, when all of a sudden they bolted and started to jump from the clearing onto the road and across. I just sat there shooting away. Some days you just get lucky ;O).

Thanks for the comments Todd. Actually it was a car stopping coming down the road that spooked the deer. I do have shots of the deer and the woman driver with a camera hanging out of her car window to get some photos. Figured it did not qualify for nature ;O)>
