A very interesting image David, I feel that perhaps the 'separation' is just a little too great and wonder what it would look like with a touch less depth... gosh we seem to have a whole new part to image critique now...... methinks I might have to post an image of my setup for Stereo pairs at work... all micrometer driven in all directions and angles
Hi David.
It's got the look of a Coral reef to me without the funny glasses, agree with Nick and i like it.

I have got the specs, and it really pops for me. The only trouble is that there seems a bit too much depth of field, the recession seems greater than you would get in real life. I guess I am agreeing with Phil.

Thanks for commenting folks.
PhilH. I'd love to see the image your professional set-up for stereo pairs, please post as soon as possible. I think your comment about the 'separation' may be valid for individuals are are used to looking at 2D images most, or all, of the time. In my case I feel the separation is just about right as I am increasingly finding that 2D images, no matter how good, are, oh so, flat. The log, oak I think, was about two feet in diameter.
2012, I feel, is going to be an exciting year for the 3D and hologram enthusiast, I urge anybody reading this to give it a go and
prepare to amaze yourself what can be produced.
David, thanks for investing in the specs. I'll try to keep the anaglyphs coming.
Phil E. Your right about the drama of 3D, I think it is great.
PS The 3D video I took at the firm's belated Christmas Party, last night, has wowed everyone I have showed it to (for all the right reasons I hasten to add).
