Just a heads up. The Moab Symposium has a another fabulous lineup of speakers this year! The workshops are first-rate, as well. I really had a tough time selecting only two.

Speaker lineup this year includes: Elizabeth Carmel (keynote), Guy Tal, Carolyn Guild, Ted Wood, Dan Ballard, Laurie Rubin (Nik Software), Tom Till (of course), Jeff Foote and Bruce Hucko.

Besides the above, Steve Traudt, Sheila Babbie and Rory Tyler will also be leading workshops.

Thinking of going? Better register soon to get the workshops you want. They're starting to fill.

I just registered. Last year was quite good and this year looks to be a great line-up. Just FYI, Elizabeth Carmel's workshops have already sold out.

I'm looking forwards to an afternoon workshop with Guy Tal, though. I have a lot of respect for both his work and his thoughts on photography, conservation, and art.

I'm excited JR and I will see you both there! Mark, what day are you going with Guy? We are booked with him on Saturday. Be sure to say hi...JR and I always sit in the back right of the room on the bench :wavey:

Anne,

I'm with him on Friday, as my preference for workshops was Elizabeth Carmel (sold out before I signed up -- congratulations to her!), then Guy, and then Tom Till. I wanted to be sure to get some time with Guy, and -- if it's good enough -- may look at doubling up for a second class with him on Saturday, like I did with Michael Frye last year. Although, I will say I'm often not good at being social while I'm out in the field, so we should put in a thread in April about meeting up for lunch or dinner or something.

Lunch is a good idea, Mark! We are with Guy on Saturday. We weren't able to go last year, so we are excited to be back this year. Are you arriving on Wednesday?
Should be a good time!
