Looking for print lab for large high quality prints

I have a client that wants a print that is larger than many labs can print. He's mentioned wanting something as large as 36 x 48. I've mentioned canvas as an option and am going to show him a sample later this week so he may be interested in a large canvas print. He is considering this as art and wants the print to be of high quality (not a poster)

Does anyone have a recommendation for someone who can print high quality as large as 36 x 48?

We use H&H Color Labs for all our printing, including large canvases such as you want. Quality is just outstanding, as are their other services. We're by no means one of their larger accounts, but you'd never guess that by the level of personalized service we get.

I use West Coast Imaging for paper and canvas prints.

I use Image Wizards for metal prints.

I use Colorplak for laminated prints.

I recommend all three!

Artistic Photo Canvas is an excellent source of high quality canvas images. They use Breathing Color Lyve canvas which, IMO, is simply the best canvas available. They also have excellent customer service and shipping.

I use a local shop, Digital Color. They have done only canvas images for me, as large as 48" X60". http://www.digitalcolorpc.com/

Perfect Posters.com in Minnesota provides superb prints of custom sizes on paper and canvas at very reasonable prices and with a short turn-around time. Don't be put off by the company's name (as I initially was); their work on fine art prints deserves a better name than "Perfect Posters"

www.AspenCreekPhoto.com is a division of West Coast Imaging. There is also www.whcc.com (White House Custom Colour).

Just a note regarding West Coast Imaging...

They have a $250 minimum for printing pre-flighted images uploaded or sent to their print lab. If you go with their 'Exhibition Prints', there is no minimum, but the cost is high because they will do all the Photoshop work to your specifications.

I have had prints made from my files by WCI using their 'Print Lab', and also had them make 'Exhibition Prints' for me. Their quality is simply outstanding, and their customer service is beyond reproach.

I got my prints from Bay Photo yesterday and they look great! Thanks for all the help picking a lab for my 24x36 print. I'm going to use them for all serious printing from now on
