Sentences far too light in my opinion!

They got off lightly, too lightly.

Bob, the article is here: http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/news/at-a-glance/main-section/badger_baiters_who_laughed_at_barbaric_dog_attack_are_jailed_1_4126350

Not pleasant reading. Very, very lenient "punishments" and the law is an ass as usual.

Used to be chairman of a badger group and some of the stuff we came across would make your stomach churn. I was driving up the A9 near Aviemore a while ago and saw what I thought was a dead badger in a lay by so I stopped to take a look and found that it was in fact a badger skin. Someone had taken the time and trouble to skin a badger and then left it at the side of the road. Go figure that one!

Nick.
