ALOHA
Sorry for being so irregular in the forum. Hope everyone had a wonderful New Year. Spent the last couple of days of 2011 and the first few days of the year in Oahu. Not much shooting but took a few shots along the North Eastern shores of Oahu. Mostly was cloudy but the sun came out sometimes. A wonderful place to visit - will have to go back ..

#1 I did a different version of this one in the Landscape gallery here but thought would try out the blending for a different mid ground. A blend of 4 shots by hand - thanks for your comments and critique as always.

Provided a larger version as well.

Hawaii would be a great place to spend the New Year season! Looks like you had a productive trip. I prefer the #1 image in this topic to the one in the Landscape Gallery. The breaking wave adds some nice interest in the middle. I also really like #3, the slow shutter speed silky waves and the weathered foreground are cool. #5 also ranks as one of my favorites. Great sharpness on those shells!

I agree totally with Josh on his picks. I think your post here is nicer than the Landscape one, i like the surreal look of 3 and i love the shells! :wavey:
