Our camera club made a trip down to Broadwater Hollow on Saturday. I was there right as it was getting light enough to see without a flashlight and was taking pictures until the light started hitting the falls (everyone else from the camera club showed up an hour after that! ).
The water flow wasn't great, but I really enjoyed my time taking pictures!

TIm, I really like this area, and you getting there "on time" really shows up in this image. Sometimes it's about making the MOST of an opportunity. I'm sure no one else got anything close to this image, despite his or her compostion. I really like how everything in the frame leads the eye to the falls. Obviously the morning was quite still. I have to say this might be my favorite image I've seen of this area. Very thoughtful and serene.

Even without ever having seen this spot I can tell you've captured the essence of the setting. This is wonderful Tim. Dominic already mentioned how everything in the frame leads the eye to the waterfall, a wonderfully composed image. Love the early morning tones and shadow detail, well done!
