I'm embarassed to say I've only passed through NM once en route to the San Juans. I was on motorcycle and rode for almost 1,000 miles straight (from Palo Alto, CA via Arizona). On this short stretch of NM I was fortunate to catch a passing thunderstorm as a full moon was rising. I was sore and numb from the ride but I had to stop for this. My hands were shaking so hard I could barely set the camera up in time for the shot.

I wouldn't say this is my favorite but it is my latest -- taken at sunrise today at Ghost Ranch.
It sure sounds like we need to invite Guy down this way for a SWNP outting!

Great shot, Guy!
I'm sorry to say I've only been to New Mexico 3 times and never with a camera. I keep bugging my husband to go to New Mexico and he finally asked why I'd want to go to New Mexico (he sees the state as just another version of Northern Arizona, boring to him as he was born and raised in Flagstaff). I'm "enchanted" by the state, however. (I know, bad pun).

I've always liked this one, Adam. Was this north, or south, of the bridge at Hwy 64? I'd like to check out this site someday soon. GPS coordinates?
Awesome images guys! That light on the Rio Grande River Gorge is sweet Adam!!
I too haven't spent enough time down in NM I'm afraid! Really only made one big trip down there, a few years ago to Chaco Canyon. Wow!! Heading to the SW next month, and Chaco is a real possibility again, we'll see.

It's looking south from the bridge.
What are GPS coordinates?
Thanks Guy!

This one is Pueblo Bonito at sunset.
Your image of Pueblo Bonito is one of my favorite images of Chaco.
Got a big SW trip planned?
Yup, big trip planned. Funny you should ask. Keep your eyes open, I've got a TON of questions coming up soon!
