Hey guys,
There was some talk of doing a winter get together at Plum Island. It seems people stopped responding to the earlier thread so I'm trying again. Would the weekends of Jan 21st or 28th work for anybody? If not then when? Also, a hotel or someplace to share photos? Any comments or additions would be helpful. I'd really like to see this get off the ground!
Thanks!

Neither the last weekend in January or the first weekend in February work for me, Any weekend after Feb 3-5 works for me.
I'm not free anytime between february 18 and 26 but any other weekend will work for me. I just went down to plum island yesterday and found 3 snowy owls- one of which I could get good photos of. So I am super excited to go back, and even if people can't go on the actual scheduled weekend, I'd always be down for a full day of shooting! Thanks guys!

What weekend in February? I can probably make any weekend in Feb.
Plum Island is great as long as it is not windy. Salisbury Beach State Park, another birding hot spot is about 20
minutes away as well.

John...
We've been talking about the weekend of February 10-12. I'm planning on heading for Plum Island on Friday.

There were 3 snowy owls on Plum Island yesterday as well as a few harriers. A short eared Owl was hunting
on the Nelson Island part off the reserve (15 minutes south) just as it was getting too dark to photo.
20 and 30 minutes north of PI was another Snowy Owl as well as a Cape May Warrbler. See photos
