Don, I really like the owl's flight pose.

The first one looks just a little dark on my monitor.
Check the histogram and bring the whites up a bit.

Bill,
Thanks for the reply, I've brightened up the First one, let me know if it is any better.

Yes, that's what I had in mind. The revision looks much better on my monitor.

Hey Don, I like the owl... looks like she's getting ready to land on a mouse! I really like the composition. Great job! It was hard to get a great flight/wing shot with her because of her right 1/2 wing. I do like your brighter Gyro falcon redo and his eye contact with you. I don't like the comp on the Gyro falcon though. I think cropping in tighter might improve it. Blessings, Deb

Hi, Don...
The exposure fix on the falcon is good. I also think the comp is a little "lopsided". The right side is cut off and there is a lot of space on the left. A little off on the left might help.
The owl shot is great!

Ok ,so I didn't look up how to spell gyrfalcon. Is a "Gyro" falcon of Greek descent  ?

I love the owl with his wings spread like that!

Thanks to all for the feedback, I got it on the composition on the falcon... will play with it some more and see what I come up with.
