Hey folks, I'm so over using my Huey Pro by Pantone cause it makes my monitor look a sickly yellow green when it's used according to the instructions. So I'm shopping calibration devices. I'd like to get a Color Munki but I don't really print enough to spend $300+ for a calibration system.
Anyone out there have something to say about the Monaco Optix XR Pro or the Spyder 2?
Thanks in advance.

I bought the Spyder 3 Pro and am very happy with it. Easy to use and seems spot on.

Hey Bill, I have a Spyder 3 Pro also and I think it 's good at calibrating too. I don't do much printing on my own. I'd be glad to bring it to the shindig and lend it to you, so you can see if you like it. You could get it back to me some time later. I don't use it much. Blessings, Deb

I also have a Spyder, and like it. My prints, either commercial or at home, look exactly like what I see on my screen.

Sounds good. I'd be happy to give the Spyder a try. Thanks for the offer, Debbie.

I had a Spyder (don't remember which version) and I sold it. I wasn't getting consistent calibration with it. It seems they've resolved these issues in the newer versions, though. I've used an X-Rite i1 Display 2 for the last 3 years and have been very happy with it. The new version, i1 Display Pro, has gotten great reviews.
