Roe deer
Hi All,

Hope you're all well. Managed to get lucky this morning on my local nature reserve with a fantastic encounter with this lovely Roe doe.

Techs:
D300s, 500mm f4
1/250sec @ f8, ISO400
-0.7 exp comp - oops!

Slight crop off the right to improve the comp, adjust levels and sharpen for web.

Thanks for looking!

C & C most welcome. :wavey:

Lovely capture Dawn. OOF grass in right foreground a minor distraction for me.

Dawn a lovely shot.
What is interesting that the fur on the neck shows what looks like another animal face and that's before my glass of wine.

A lovely shot with a wonderful wintery feel to it. I agree with Bob that the oof left foreground is a little distracting but certainly not over so and I would be very pleased to have taken this. :toast:

Thanks all for your kind comments, much appreciated! I'm struggling to see the face myself, maybe I need that glass of wine!

Super image and composition - especially like the colour palette. I thought the face looked more barn owl like .... and I've definitely not been drinking :toast:
