D7000 105mm f2.8 1/80s at f11 ISO 100 tripod cable release
Taken last summer very early in the morning after a heavy dew. Sun had just hit the butterfly. Rare in England but common where I am on the west coast of Scotland.
All C+C warmly welcomed.
Nick.

Utterly beautiful. The colours and the background are just stunning.

Many thanks for all you comments. I forgot to mention that as the sun lit up the area where I was the warmth brought out thousands of midges and I ended up beating a hasy retreat once I had the images I had come for.
