Rock Art
Here is one from last fall in New Mexico. This is a three foot tall petroglyph of the Wind God found in the remote part of the state.

See more about the rock art to be found here on my blog

Cool! It seems even more amazing to me that you'd find petroglyphs in a place as remote as this seems.

I'm always amazed at ancient art like this. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks. These are not only big glyphs and hard to find, they are also historical important ones There are many well known sites, this is not so well known. However there is a movement forming to help establish this area as a national monument.

Your rock art hunts reminds me of our geocaching hunts! The fun is in the hunt!
