Had to return from 'hibernation' in order to congratulate Doug Koepsel for earning a slot as a finalist in the Scenic Images category for the 2011-2012 Arizona Highways Photo Contest. The winner will be announced in a future issue.
This is really quite a feat as there were 5000+ entries to choose from this year!
I wish you the best of luck in the contest and my heartiest 'Congratulations!', Doug.
Congrats, Doug, sweet image, one of the best I've seen of the Peaks!

Wow, what an honor! Congratulations, Doug. It's a gorgeous image and just be in the company of the other extraordinary finalists is an accomplishment. Of course, it'd be even nicer to win. Fingers crossed for you!

Thank you all for the congratulations. A return of thanks is given to y'all here on RMNP for helping me develop as a photographer the past two years. Chikku has two images as finalists, so congrats to him also.

Awesome image Doug!
One of the best gifts I got for Christmas was a subscription to Arizona Highways... It'll be nice to see a familiar name in there.
