After talking with the mods about the uncertain future of our classifieds page and that regional membership doesn't allow for posts in the main NPN classified page, I was given the okay to post a sale add in our main forum (Thanks, Josh!)
Anyway, I would like to sell my trusty 5D -- which is probably less camera than some of you have, but for someone just getting started in landscape photography its a great tool. I have owned this camera since early 2007, purchased from a portrait studio that was closing. When I bought it, the camera had appx 2000 actuations on the shutter and was used as the backup body to the main 1DsII. I have averaged roughly 2000-2500 shots a year since I've owned it and it had been very well cared for. Its been cleaned and serviced by Canon twice, the last time in 2011 when they did the mirror re-enforcement recall fix. Along with all the standard "stuff" in the box, I am also throwing in 2 additional batteries from Sterlingtek -- one of which has been charged twice (purchased last summer). I am also including the Ee-D grid focussing screen, which is installed now and of course the screen it came with . Lastly I would really like to sell the camera along with the RRS L-plate that I used with it the last 3 years which is also in excellent condition. If someone is interested in just the body, I can sell the L-plate separately. The easiest way to reach me is email at pemart_22@yahoo(dot)com I will consider reasonable offers, but there is a number that I need to get from the sale to invest into another camera.

After reading through all of the rules for classifieds I got the impression that posting prices was frowned upon. However, if thats what the people want I am more than happy to oblige
