Like several others, I have been lurking at RMNP for several months - I was introduced to the site by one of the members, Randy Van Winkle, and am thoroughly enjoying the site and the contributions made by the members (never would have appreciated Great Sand Dunes as much until I saw Stan Rose's images).
By way of introduction, I am Doug Beezley, a native Coloradan who has lived in Georgia (suburb of Atlanta) for nearly 30 years. But, I return to Colorado at least twice a year with either my fly rod and/or camera (usually the camera wins). My favorite locations are the Crested Butte area and the San Juans and it's high basins. I have actually met several of the forum members while afield.
I've been an "active" photo hobbist for only about 6 years and while the skill level reflects that, my interest and enthusiasm goes far beyond those few years. For me, it's all about the total experience; not just the image.
Below is a link to my favorite images from the past year. Any constuctive criticism/critique is always welcome.
Nice work Doug, hope to see you out here in Colorado this year!

Welcome Doug. Some really nice photos in this collection. I think my favorite image is the barn near Telluride. It gives a rustic, colorful and atmospheric feeling. Some great shots from Utah, Arizona and Oregon in there too. Love the Pistol River lupine. That's definitely one of my favorite spots on the coast.

Hey, Doug!!! I think JR and I met you at sunrise in Bryce last November? I hope you are planning a trip out here for the wildflowers or fall colors since we hope to have a RMNP get together in both of your favorite places! Great to see you out here

Thanks, Randy and Joshua. Colorado is definitely in the cards for both the summer and fall. Anne, you did indeed meet me at Bryce one cold and windy morning last November - enjoyed the visit with you and JR and am looking forward to any RMNP pow-wows.

Welcome Doug. From your 2011 favorites, I like the Telluride barn image. I also liked the Vermilion Cliffs set on your site. I fished the walk-in at Lees Ferry this past spring, the day after they ramped it to 25k cfs, which made it tough.
