It's been a long time ago I did some posting over here.
So I thought to post a picture I made last year.
Absolulty spoken it is not my first Kingfisher, but it is the first Kingfisher picture which made me satisfied with the result.
Please let me know how you think about it.
Exif: 1/100sec, F5.6, ISO 400, 700mm
The picture is only cropped to a square by removing de left side.
Thanks for looking.

Looks OK for me Tom. Good to see you still around Its one of those which could go square, upright or landscape. You have to leave the webs whatever.
Good stuff.

that's nice Tom, I particularly like the cobweb. I'm not quite sure about the best composition - I think I'd prefer some off the top and a bit more on the right.
Hi Tom.
The pose and of course the cobweb look really good ,i agree with Matt about the top and right.

Lovely! Great cobweb too. Definitely a traditional landscape crop for me.

What a beautiful image Tom the cobwebs certainly have made for a very different and interesting image. My preference would also be for a landscape crop as there is quite a lot of room over the bird but it would also allow for printing on the front cover of a magazine which it deserves to be on.

Like others, I go for the landscape crop. Really love the spider web though.

Hello all,
Thanks for the comments. I made a new crop with a little less top en a little more on the right.
Is this what you do mean??
I was waiting for the kingfisher to turn his head to the left so I have a better picture just because of the web.
I'll put the original picture in a repost in this article.
Thanks again.
