Dancing on Ice ll
1D Mk iv, 600mm f4 x 1.4, 1/500s, f5.6, iso 400

Another juvenile moorhen feeling its way across some rather thin ice.

Another really nice image Ian. I'm not normally that keen on images where the bird is looking straight at the lens but the bird's slightly curious expression seems to make up for it. Lovely light, colours and composition.

Is it me or does the image need to go anti-clockwise a little? Could be a trick of the eye with the edge of the ice I suppose? Superb image Ian the colours are fantastic.

Execution is equal to the prveious shot but the pose isn't as good here so I would go with the first.
