Really nice Dave - I've only ever seen these in the distance. I also like the crop and the picture says a lot about habitat & behaviour.

Cheers

Hi Dave,

I've been working with British Primitive Goats as part of a habitat grazing programme, so can relate very easily to this fella! A super shot, that only just begins to hint at their agility on this terrain. It's nice to see the habitat as well.

Extreme sports goats eh! i saw some extreme sports sheep in the lake district a few weeks ago.....crazy made me feel queezy just watching them . Cracking shot Dave, you must be as mad as they are  . I think it might look a bit better with a bit taken off the top..

Hi Daver,

Nice shot... was looking forward to seeing the wide-angle version you showed me last week. Agree with a slight trim off the dull green at the very top and focus more on the nice rock. I bet your legs were going a bit... know how you are with heights!

Looking forward to more!

Dave,

Like the shot as is but have twiddled (hoep you don't mind) with it a bit a) to remove the patch of snow b) lose the long piece of grass hanging over the ledge and c) blurred the OOF background to emphasise the depth.

Started with the thought that the patch of snow was too much of a distractor then went a bit further. How do you think this compares?

Hi Andrew
Its certainly cleaned it up,Maybe a little tight but still room for 'Animal about to fall to its death monthly' heading,I wondered when somebody was going to mention that long piece of grass and will amend my file to remove it,Clever bit of cloning with the snow,As anybody who knows me will tell you i suffer from vertigo but have been pushing myself with these guys-facing my fears so to speak-Have some explaining to do with the wife reguarding the underware

Yes, went too tight but reckon a bit of cropping and cloning would be of benefit. Good stuff despite my tweaking

Amazing creatures.
You've caught the moment perfectly. :toast:

I too would have felt as though I could be blown away by any gust of wind at this height so think you have done well. Dont know how much higher above the animal you were, but surprised it wasn,t stairing straight at you.
Good all round capture and the vertical format adds to the moment.
