Humble Blackbird
Just a Blackbird but the colours can be amazing in the right light. This is with the new lens, which gives a slightly wider view. Re vamping the pool has inadvertently lowered the level a little( Not intentional ) The gravel choice is crap but now the levels are sorted a layer of good stuff is in order.
D7000 Nikor 70-300
640 ISO 150th Sec @ f8
White balance on auto warm setting.
EV and Contrast down 1 in camera.
High Dynamic lighting high.
About 80% crop
Hide/Beanbag
Thanks for interest in my last pic
Cheers

Blackbirds may be humble, but due to the colour of the plumage they are not necessarily easy. I like the way you have brought out the blacks here.

Cracking feather detail John. The bright stones seem to balance the bird somehow
