Great Little Soft Case for Batteries & Charger
Today I came across this Eagle Creek SAC in extra-small at the Container Store (and later found it on Amazon). It's perfect to hold my Canon 5D2 charger sideways and two LP-E6 batteries vertically. I have a ThinkTank zippered pack to hold all of the bits in my case such as remote cord and hot shoe level and batteries, etc, but sometimes I just want to grab batteries and charger and toss 'em in my shoulder bag. This case is the perfect size and only $7.50. It's mesh but has a thin plastic lining for spill protection (I wouldn't dunk it in the North Santiam up by the Big Cliff Dam, lol). It also has a plastic clip to hang it on a loop, but I probably won't use that feature.

Anyway, neat solution that gives you convenience and three batteries on your person at all times (one in-camera of course).

Thanks for the tip, Paul. Having just been in a minor panic because my Nikon D90 charger wasn't in its usual place (turned out I hadn't unpacked it from my "other" camera bag after my Rhody trip two weeks ago), I think I'll get one of these. I've sometimes used something similar from a camping store, but this looks smaller, which is a major advantage.
