It was one of those good news/bad news mornings.
My flight from Fairbanks to Anchorage was seriously delayed because there was ice on the wings, and at -47 F it was too cold to allow the use of standard de-icer.
But the good news was that the delay while they mixed stronger de-icer meant there was sunlight on the mountains for the flight.
The bad news was that all I had with me was my iPhone.
The good news was I had a window seat.
Sure hope it warms up soon...

Don't miss those morning flights every week but I do miss the views. Really magical...
