I took "many" shots of this Perigrine Falcon last friday at the refuge under less then ideal conditions. The heavy fog and 22 degree left me with mostly unusable grainy and soft images, frustrating considering the prized subject was only 40 feet away. I was able to salvage a few including this unusual pose. Using NIK's suite to sharpen and reduce noise twice and decided to keep this one, mostly for his quirky cocked head pose.
This led me to find a suitable caption to match the look. I do realize that interjecting "Photo Humor" on this forum goes beyond the highest standards we normally adhere too and apologize in advance to the management.

Craig, I really like the pose you caught, and it has that painterly feel to it. Well done!!.

Great shot, Craig. Way to save it from the "tossed out" pile! Maybe it was trying for that "unique perspective" on a human being? The

is on all of us for looking every which way for "that unique perspective" of our subjects. And kudos to Peregrine for giving it a try…

Great photo Craig! Unique perspective on a beautiful bird! Love the background and comp. Well done! My quote would be "Could someone call my Chiropractor!" Blessings, Deb

He's obviously thinking "Dang, I wish I had a lens like that!." Amazing shot of a hard to get bird Craig.
