Well, I like the comp...it does have some appeal. I looked at a shot from the other side, but just didn't see it. This is about as good of a comp you can get from this bridge.
Does this have a slight blue cast?

Zack, I like this. I would rotate it a touch clockwise to level out the bridge. You may have had your levels set correctly when taking the image and the bridge may actually go slightlty uphill, but to the viewer, it is distracting. I agee with Mark about obsurring the road below. Overall though, a very nice image. Great light, nice composition.
Zack,
I've pondered over this comp. before also. I have to tell you I'm still not sure if it works. The highlighted trees do add alot to it.

Hi Zack - the lighting on the bridge and trees is great, and the road doesn't really bother me. This might sound strange but the whole comp works better for me if you cropped down from top all the way to the top of the bridge, omitting all of the hills in the background...

I like it ! - Road doesn't bother me, I think the hills behind the bridge give it more stability than if they were gone.... Level the bridge if you wish, but I love the light on the trees and the detail in the structure. I'm starting to really see "a signature" to 5D photos and that is a BAD THING (cause I want one!).
What great light in this scene! The light really makes this shot pop! That lit tree just sings!! The road? Had Mark not mentioned it I doubt I would have noticed it.
Have you thought about cropping off the top down to where that dark slope meets the right side?
