Hare S.O.S.
The last week of 2011 I had a chance to go to the Friesian coast at the "Waddenzee" (NL). This is the sea between the North site of the Netherlands and the Dutch Islands there (called Waddeneilanden of Wadden Islands). The water was coming up very rapid also due to the hard wind which was coming from sea to the land.

This hare and a few more made the mistake to stay to long on there place so they got wet feet. But they could also swim and that I had never known.

This one survived after a struggle with the salt water. I left the hare almost in the middle of the picture to make it more dramatic for this hare in the picture. Water allover, no coastguard. Hope you can appreciate that in stead of the 1/3 "rule".

C&C is welcome. Thanks in advance.

Wow... :toast:

Hi All,

The hare (and the other hares also) survived. I don't think it's the first time they swim into safety.
So do not worry none of these animals died.
