Introduction to snow (c)
Just wanted to post this image of a young African Spotted Eagle Owl. I know it's not wild but for those who know, these birds play a very important part of my life.

With yesterday's (4th Feb 12) snow flurry, this little fella we have named 'Star' was taken out around the farm to encounter the day's weather, simple answer 'Not Amused'

Training had to be done as I find it very important to adapt captive bred birds to all weather conditions, just in case they have to encounter it alone.

Thanks for any comments :toast:

Cute chick Vince! Definitely not the kind of weather it would expect to see back home.
