Paint Mines with Stan
Here are a few from my outing with Stan last Saturday. And with one of him at work in the twilight cold.

Man, that was deep snow, and the snowshoes didn't really help all that much. I was sore for 3 days after, and that was with Stan breaking ground ahead of me most of the time. Thanks again, Stan!

Thanks for looking,

Morris

The last one is well titled, Morris.
I love the wind sculptured snow.

This place looks a lot different in winter for sure. I like 2 and 3 for color (2) and comp (3). :toast:

#3 has my eye. Composed well with beautiful soft light Morris.

Thanks, Bill, Jack, and Kane. :wavey:
Thanks Michael, and you know we could use a dose of your fine work around here once in awhile, too.

Beautiful work Morris! I especially like #1 with the textures in the snow and the snow buildup behind the brush showing evidence of the winds. Now only if you can clone out that black blob from the ULC

Beware the BLOB!
Beautiful set, Morris, glad you're recovered  #2 is my fav, i like it better than the ess post

I find the dragon's head and the vertical snow ridge going over it interesting by themselves. I don't know if a skinny vertical comp of it would work though.
#1 sure gives a stark and cold feel.
