I'd like to pay a visit from my native California to shoot the Western Olympic Peninsula: Rialto Beach, Hoh rainforest, etc. Could you locals help me with pros and cons of timing? Sometime when it wouldn't be raining nonstop, but also not likely to be unremittingly sunny. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Late May through early June should be good. Also mid- to late October, when you'll get some fall color in the Hoh rainforest. Rain likely at any time, but not constant.
