Supposedly this is to better position themselves to take advantage of the digital market. Hopefully they really take Mamiya forward in terms of digital imaging... I would hate to see them close up shop completely...

Here's an optimistic view of the sale. Certainly having a management solely devoted to the photographic field should be positive.
