Barr Lake Sunset
This is a photo I took of Barr Lake a couple of weeks ago. I went looking for eagles, they weren't cooperative, so I waited till the sun set and got this.
This is a 3 shot blend

Comments and suggestions welcomed

Hi Richard, looks like a nice evening to be out at the lake. Nice warm colors. Your blend looks good too. I would prefer more depth of field with your foreground. Maybe a crop of the bottom 25% and about 10% off the top? Just a thought.

Here's a crop per Kane's suggestion

The crop helps, but also magnifies other weaknesses. The bright sun and overexposed reflections in the water grab the eye and don't let go. The overexposed areas look grey, as if you tried to fix them in post process, which is nigh impossible.
This may have been more appealing and had more dynamic range had you waited for the sun to set a bit lower before shooting.
