Apple / iTune Breach of Security

Please be aware, Apple iTunes store has had a serious breach of security IMO. Of course they won't say that. I rarely, if ever purchase apps from this site, but some how my Apple ID/iTunes account was compromised (I do have an iPhone but have very few apps on it). It is not just me. My husband found this http://thenextweb.com/apple/2011/03/01/apple-itunes-accounts-hacked-as-more-rogue-developers-emerge/ . I have spent most of today trying to resolve this. Even after talking to Apple / iTunes (you can't actually talk to Apple / iTunes, they only do email) and PayPal (who you can talk to) removing any access to Paypal and credit card accounts and changing ID's and passwords, additional transactions still happened. What the HELL is going on? Could be an inside job IMO. Apple / iTunes caught the illegal activity as did PayPal the first time around informing me via email but did not the second time. I discovered the new activity via emails sent from Apple iTunes. So why did Apple iTunes and PayPay allow this activity to continue? Round two this afternoon but resolved again for the second time..... I think. Please be alert. Eva

Thanks for sharing this bad news Eva. My wife and I just opened iTune accounts the other day for FREE app access. We now look forward to finding out that nothing in life is ever really FREE. :frown:
