Tonight's shindig was a lot of fun! Thank you to everyone for coming and bringing yummy potluck stuff. Brent's work location was a great spot for our get together. Next year's shindig may include a roller derby because the space was so huge!
Sarah Fishler won a 16x20 duraplaq print, Kalin Wilson won an f-stop shoulder bag, Kane Engelbert won a Guy Tal ebook, and Josh Warrender won a duraplaq print (any material, any size!!). There were other great NPN give always as well(hats, mugs, lens pens). The white elephant went well, too (no blood was shed) and the prints traded were beautiful.
Thanks, again, for a good evening and stay tuned for the next event!

Once again, our awesome mods and event coordinator did a wonderful job of putting together a fun event!
Todd and Debbie, I hope you guys got to your homes OK...I-25 between Larkspur and Monument got awfully slippery and without any warning!

Sounds like another awesome shindig. So bummed I missed it! Hope everyone made it home safely.

What a great place with space to have the Shindig , thanks again Brent. Ann, I think your tireless efforts paid off. Btw, who made the Meeatballs? HolySmokes they were terrific!

So glad everyone could make it (despite the lovely I-25 traffic), and glad it worked out with the space. Huge thanks to Anne for pulling all the pieces together, and for Josh and Jack for coming early to help set up (and clean up!). And wow, great food! Thanks everyone for bringing good stuff!

Almost forgot, I mentioned that 9News did their morning show at Sign Language while giving a tour last night, wanted to post the video they had since some fol;ks asked:
Great video - looks like you had plenty of air time.
Thanks to all the organizers for last night - had a great time. Good to meet a few more of you in person!

Wow, that video was impressive...can I have that HP printer? It's funny how they designed it to look like a jigundus inkjet!!

It was fun to catch up with great friends, have some good chow, and walk away with a new bag and great print by Randy Van Winkle. Thanks for pulling it off, Ann. To the next one!
It was just great to meet everyone last night. I had a blast and scored a wonderful print from the amazing Todd Caudle. Thanks again to our great host, Ann.
Big thanks to the organizers. I had a great time and it was nice to put a face to a name for many of you. Look forward to more good things in the year to come! Cheers

Sounds like fun! Wish I didn't live so far west of I-25 Oh, we'll, maybe next year.

A great evening, as usual!
Thanks to all the organizers, especially Brent for access to the Sign Language facility and tour.
I love that HP "desktop" printer, but the 14 foot wide is what I asked my wife to order for my upcoming birthday.
Does it come with a full set 1 gallon ink cartridges?

Excellent gig as always. Good to catch up with some friends from previous shindigs and meet new folks. Brent, if you repeat this anywhere I'll deny it to the grave but....You are a peach! Prevailing upon your new employer to furnish the facility for us is amazing and you deserve all the praise that we can heap upon you. (okay, that's more nice stuff than I've said to or about you in the nearly 20 years I've known you so back to normal)
Anne, Jack, Josh, stellar work organizing this thing. Great food, good conversation, and I scored a really nice print for my office. Can't wait till next year.

For those who missed this event, some photos from the gathering would be great to see! Thanks for posting one, Brent.

Hey, John! I forgot my point-n-shoot yesterday, but here is a picture from my phone. I'll see if Brent can upload a few more!
Big thanks to Brent for the location and to Anne and others who helped put this together. Good to see some familiar faces and new ones as well. Great food (second Kane's mention of the meatballs), great company. I'm very fortunate to have won the prize from Duraplaq, very generous of Tim to provide such a great prize to the group. I'm looking forward to working with Tim and sharing the results with everyone. Looking forward to the next event.

We had a pretty good turnout...30+ came and from the comments I heard, everyone had a good time. There was plenty of food and drink, some stellar pictures for the white elephant and a few items for the gear swap. Can't wait to see what our state coordinators come up with next...hint, hint.

It was so much fun that returning to a 47-degree house was worth it! Thanks Anne, you did a GREAT job coordinating this year's festivities. And thanks to Brent for once again being the go-to guy for a place to go-to.

Todd, don't you have a picture to share of you posing next to the HP "desktop" printer ?
