Well....run hare run really! Taken today on a very cold mountain side. Came across four mountain hares in a small area and one eventually ran over a large patch of snow and I managed to catch it before it ran off onto the grass again. I rattled off about 6 shots but I like this one the best because it has its feet all up at the same time. All C+C warmly welcomed.

A great action shot Nick. The strong diagonals within the image give it a real sense of dynamism and movement. The ears have just avoided the darker background. To be very picky (and it really is a minor point) it would have been nicer to have just a bit more snow showing above the ears.

A wonderful sight and well captured! Good to get all four feet off the ground. I like the background too, although I feel it is a little unbalanced and might crop a little from the bottom, or add some more on top if you have it?.
