Eurasian Lynx (c)
Just returned from a trip i organised to southern Germany to photograph Wolves, Bears, Owls and Lynx (amongst others) in a captive but natural setting.
Here's one of the Lynxes wich was my main personal target for the trip.

Captive or not it is still a beautifull creature in what looks to be a very natural setting

That is a stunning image and I have no problems with it being a captive animal. The light on the snow gives it lots of atmosphere and the trees as the BG really show its habitat. Wish that was mine!

I agree that this look very natural indeed Jeroen. Well composed.

I love the eyes that sparkle with the catchlights. Thinking about this as a print, the bright area behind your watermark might look a bit bright. The watermark "covers this up" at the moment.

Cheers

I think it is a nice image, tack sharp and good composition. Not much more then i can add to that. Personally i don't get a kick out photographing animals or birds in a sophisticated zoo.
