thought that you might like to see a role reversal, I have heard of Pike eating ducks, but never a cormorant eating a Pike , and he did swallow it in the end phttp://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h290/hooklink/corm2.jpgike................

Hello Stewart
That's some catch, by both of you! I really like action shots of nature, they always tell a story.
Welcome to the forum too. Just for future reference, try to keep your images 720 on the longest side and no more than 200k in size.
Best wishes

I think this just goes to show what these birds are capable of taking and the devistation they can cause to a fishery, It looks a little soft around the birds head but certainly tells a story

Blimey, did it really win? Wow, that's some eating machine.

Great capture. By the way your website link needs some sorting.

wow!! thanks for all the feed back, and friendly comments, the reason the shot may seem a bit soft is that the bird was about 150yds away from me, and I use a d200 with a 300mm afs 2.8 lens and a 1.7 tc, so I guess it was streaching it a bit...................
