Deer ID needed.
Hi all,

Thanks for all the comments and critique on my last post. Here is something different.

I've had my trail cameras setup looking for suitable habitats to photograph wildlife and I've captured something I'm not 100% on. I think its a Sika deer, but its in a very strange place if you saw it on a map. I'd appreciate it if anybody can ID the deer for me.

I was extremely lucky that the camera didn't get lifted. A large group of feral children walked past it on three separate occasions! Even in night mode and video too!

The photo isn't going to win any awards though!

Thanks. :wavey:

Thanks! :wavey:

I reckon you are spot on with your ID Paul.

When I first saw the pic I thought it was the new D4 in a low ISO test

Thanks Nick. I had to replace the keyboard, I got thinking about a D4 and a 200-400......

Yes, ferals, the hooded variety too! The deer was spotted alive after they passed thankfully!

Thanks.

Paul, when I start to think about D4's and big lenses the missus sees my glazed expression and gives me a cuff.......at least it saves me keyboard!
