Wet Warbler
Taken today at my local nature park, right after a big rain shower came through.Looks like I might have put the focus just behind his head.
Nikon D5100, Sigma 50-500 at 500mm,ISO 800, f7.1, 1/80th of a sec

I like it Wade. colors are spot on and a nice bokeh.
Coincidentally I was just reading the Sigma ad for the 50-500. Sounds like a solid lens for such a range. Decently sharp at 500mm too. How is it on the short end.
I'm becoming a fan of Sigma, I've got two.....the 150 macro and the newer 24-70. Both are excellent IMO. :toast: :toast:

Sweet! That's not a species you see a lot of photos of, congrats on a great catch of this one.

Bruce, I havent played with the short end much but I can tell you that from what I am seeing this thing is good from 200-almost 500. It might be just a touch soft at 500.
