I have expanded and updated the wildflower pages (Wildflower Reports What's Blooming Where) at Natural History Wanderings. New links have been added; bad links removed; and new pages created with additional resources.

Here are some of the pages:

• California Wildflower Bloom Reports (Recent wildflower bloom reports and updates on Natural History Wanderings)

• Links to California Wildflower Websites

• Northern California Wildflower Hotspots
(Series of postings on wildflower hotspots on Natural History Wanderings)

• Wildflower Hikes (Articles on hikes and wildflower areas on Natural History Wanderings)

• California Plant Floras and Wildflower Field Guides (List of mostly print California plant floras and field guides to help in your plant exploration and identification

• California Plant Lists (Detailed plant lists for many California Parks and Wildflower sites)

• Wildflower Photography Tips (Articles on wildflower photography)

• Arizona Wildflower Websites and Books

• Colorado Wildflower Websites and Books

• Nevada Wildflower Websites and Books

• New Mexico Wildflower Websites and Books

• Oregon and Washington Wildflower Websites and Books

• Texas Wildflower Sites

You can see the updated Natural History Wanderings Wildflower Pages at: http://naturalhistorywanderings.com/wildflower-reports/

Sandy, An outstanding resource - thank you. FYI, the problems with the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival's website have been cleared up. It was appropriated by an eastern European porn factory late last June for about 5 days but that has all been cleared up and the site is secure with the appropriate security measures. I hope you can change your reference to their site so that users will not be worried about it. By the way, it wasn't a virus; rather a URL re-direct to the "adult" content. The "wild" flowers were a little "wilder" than had been planned. This per the Executive Director of the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival, Sue Wallace.

Thanks very much Sandy. I'm sure we will all be looking at this source in the months ahead.

Doug,

Thanks for the update. Correction has been made and website link added. I was in Crested Butte a few years ago the week after the festival and had a great time shooting wildflowers.
