Monster!
Nikon D300 105mm f2.8 macro ISO 100 1/60s at f13 SB-400 flash fill tripod MLU & cable release.

Emerging Large Red Damselfly taken in my garden. I have them breeding in my pond and came across this one morning. Carefully cut the leaf, set it in a pot of soil and moved it to another part of the garden to get a clearer BG. All C+C warmly welcomed.

Tried wearing sunglasses David but the image just looked dull! I suspect images like this in 3D might have people of a nervous disposition running for the exit....or having a small accident!

Hi Nick. I'm hoping to photograph leopard slugs, residing in my worm compost bin, tomorrow. Not a pretty sight, unless you like slugs and worms, of course.

HAS to be seen large to fully appreciate it. On the small image I wondered about the view point and detail, but on opening the large image all those doubts disappeared.
Best wishes

That is a cracking shot Nick. The detail throughout the length of the insect is great. :toast:
