Hi all,

This is the other subject that has kept me ( any many others) busy over the winter months. So much easier than my small birds in flight work, but just as rewarding when the elements come together.

Canon 1DMK4, 800mm, f6.3, 1/2500, ISO400, tripod mounted.

Very nice Austin, they are wonderful subjects are they not? Thankfully quite tollerant of us, given the number of people who turn up to shoot them.

Terrific shot Austin. I too have spent a good deal of time with these Owls but not yet managed to capture one as nice as this :wink:

All been said.....this is a cracking image of a SEO in flight. Agree with Robert would like to see a large version.

@Robert @Nick I am not sure how to post a larger version, now that this thread is active. I tried to EDIT the post but it only offers me the chance to change the text. Any clues??

Alternatively, I have subsequent frames of this image so I could post one of those large if you like.

Post another and use the large image box, it would be good to see if it is anything like as good as this one!
