Rene

Most impressive image. Illustrates the Eagles power and strength.

this certainly shows the bird's wings off very well. The background is a little distracting but a strong image nevertheless.

Hi Rene,

Wonderful pose and the splashing snow really adds to the atmosphere. Do feel the BG a tiny bit distracting but not much you could have done about that.

greetings,

Excellent action shot. I'd love to see a 3D video of all the action, I bet it would look great on your 3D TV - active or passive glasses or glassesless?

A fabulous subject Rene. I love the snow spray and the light catching the eye perfectly.

Ref. BKGR. I would burn in the two brightest white areas. Having seen the face and centre part of this picture my eyes then follow the wings out from the centre. In both cases that takes my eye towards the bright areas in the BKGR.

Note to myself - I must do more images in the snow...

Austin thanks for the advise. It is what it is: snow! I am not one to change or manipulate my images a lot. It is a natural setting and whereas with smaller birds you can change and modify backgrounds to a certain extend, you can't do it with these highly sensitive raptors. If you are interested in something special in the snow in 2012... drop me an email I might be able to help.
