Venus, Jupiter, Moon Convergence
Just a heads up that Venus, Jupiter, and the crescent moon will all be converging near the same area of the sky Sat & Sun right after sunset. Here's a shot I took tonight, when they were drawing closer together (Jupiter being the smallest of the three bright objects).

That's awesome! I had forgotten about it so didn't go out for anything, when they were in line like this last night. Hopefully the grouping tonight and/or tomorrow will look nearly as cool.

Cool shot, Grant! I saw these last night with my wife, but had no opportunity to photograph it. I will try tonight. Now, I just have to try to find a foreground object as good as yours. :toast:

Sweet shot, Grant! I too admired it from the front yard, but am now contemplating options.

Very nice. Really like the starts and the dramatic shape of the rock.

This is terrific, Grant! The 'star' of the moon is the star of the show here, and I love the foreground you chose..
