Summer Bird.
Wet Wheatear on a damp day last summer.
Nikon D7000
Nikon 300ml 2.8
1/160@f6.3
iso 200.

Hi Paul, I like the setting and technically it all looks fine. I would have preferred if the wheatear had his head turned a bit more.

I love photographs taken in rainy conditions and this one is a good one. Composition is spot on, love the wet grasses, nice oof background and the bird has been well captured with it's food. A slight head turn as Rene mentioned would have made it even better but I still like it as it is. :toast: :toast:

I would prefer the bird positioned very slightly more to the right of the frame, so that the eye was on a horizontal as well as a vertical third. Even so, a shot that captures the essence of a British summer!
