Snow Bunting

One from that car park in North Norfolk, Snow Bunt in a puddle.

1/3200th @ f8 iso800 ( -2/3rds and iso200 would have been better as I think I may have lost the whites on the flank, thought about the burn tool but with my PS skills I thought better of it )

Thanks for the feedback on my Barn Owl post and thanks for looking.

There are a few more shots on the blog for those interested.

I don't have any problems with the hot spots either - there is detail enough on my monitor. Great shot, and I like the reflection.

Whites look fine to me - I can see plenty of details. Great puddle that isn't it - spent many happy hours there!

Classic Norflolk snow bunting :toast:

Is this from the site that had the "carpet" feeding station as part of a research project?

Thanks again for the feedback fellas.

No sure about the research project, Mike, but the grass bank often looks like a seed carpet :frown:

Hi Andy, I am showing my age here, I think the carpet feeding station set up was over 10 years ago ...... there was usually a good flock of snow bunting and an occassional lapland bunting feeding on seed placed on a bit of old carpet..... and usually a few shorelark about.
