I am thinking to buy a yongnuo RF-602 Flash Trigger to use with my Canon 40D and Canon 430EX II. It is very cheap compare to other similar triggers with a good brand name.
I am a bit confused with online reviews. They all have very different experience. Sync 1/200 or 1/250; it fixed properly on the hot shoe or it is very lose and falls off the camera.....
Does anyone have a experience with it? Or any other (better) suggestions?
Your inputs are greatly appreciated.
Mohammad
Hey Mohammad,
I have them and use them with my 40D.
They SHOULD synch at 1/250......in a few cases I have heard that some only get 1/200.... Cnot a deal breaker.
They do NOT have a locking me hanism but they slide in reasonably tight. They will not fall off unless you are really moving the camera or the flash a lot. Transmitter battery is a little pricey at about $8 American...receiver is AAA battery.
I think for the price there is no better product in the market. If you are rough on gear though not a good choice.
MOST of the time any problems can be traced to low battery power...I have had mine for about three years and they still rock when I need them. Remember they are manual only...no ETTL.
Thanks Bob for the feed back. I think it is a good deal and I not rough on my gear at all. It will work fine for me. The only down side as you mentioned is the no ETTL option, but I wouldn't expect with this price anyway!!
I think I will go for it.
