I dont mind the cairn as it is a key feature of the Lakeland peaks. The image is very smart and brings back memories of regular November trips to the Lakes

That brings back many happy memories Mike, what a day to be on the hills! Cracking image and whilst the cairn is a little dominant it is not too intrusive in the image. Have you any of Striding Edge?

Maybe the cairn is a bit dominating , but I do like the composition and exposure is spot on.

Do you have any with the cairn composed to the right? That footpath to the left of the cairn is really pulling my eye and I'd be interested to see if myou composed any with that as a more prominent part of the image. Exposure is spot on. Didn't see any snow at all here this winter.

I like the composition. That cairn would really 'pop' in 3D

A very clean and crisp image, Mike. The cairn works for me and the distant views of the cloud shrouded hills look great.
