Some of you may be interested in this - I just added my third (and hopefully final!) chapter to the Nikon V1 Field Test on my website. Among other things, the latest chapter deals directly with "The Nikon V1 as a Wildlife Camera".
Lots of sample images and I suspect some might be surprised at the quality of output this little camera is capable of.
Cheers...

Funny thing, I was thinking of adding another lens and discussed with a on-line mentor, Thom Hogan. He suggested I get this same V1 camera and the FT1 and use my existing lenses.
He said the Nikon AF-S lenses on the V1 works with the phase detection auto focus on the V1.
This it very fast in good light. and the 60 fps at 10mp is awesome.
While there are a couple of drawbacks he really thought I should try...........and I just might.......when I have saved up a little more money.
So I welcome your research and am headed to your site to check it out. Thanks for your sharing.
Thom tends to be quite thorough and we often - but not always - have the same opinion on gear. I haven't read his V1 review, but I've been told by a few folks that his review of the camera is less positive than mine. Different strokes...
