Yep, another bird I can only guess the id on. Maybe a willet, but corrections are welcome. Ding Darling about 12 days ago.
If this bird seems a bit thin, the leg being held up appeared to be injured and it was trying to avoid putting weight on it. If it is thin for its species, I'd appreciate knowing that as well.
Willet for sure. Someone else will have to decide between eastern and western willet.

yep Dan a Willet but I am not qualified to make that geographical distinction either. I will try to post one of mine from Fl. as comparison but am batting 0 so far with my uploading skills. (-:
Thanks for the ID confirmation. I'm spending a lot of time with my guides but not being a birder and trying to keyword for stock, I want to be sure I'm right.
