Has anyone been to Gatorland (south of Orlando) recently? If so, how was the birding? Thanks.

I haven't been to Gatorland since they rebuilt a few years ago after a devasting fire. I was just at the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge near the Kennedy Space Center about 3 weeks ago and the sighting of various and rare birds was excellent.

It is supposed to be still good although I haven't been there.
If you are not already aware of it, you may want to check Viera Wetlands just north of Melbourne. May main problem shooting there two weeks about was at times getting just one bird in the photo.
I've been there before they put the stupid zipline (last year or so) in which caused a change in nesting from what I heard. It was a great place to shoot and very close opportunities of nesting birds and babies. I will return this year anyway as I am curious.
